Hello, I am a freelance illustrator and designer. I mostly use lino and monoprinting to produce my work, but also use other medium such as collage and Photoshop. As well as printing and illustration I am also passionate about textiles and surface design. My inspirations are nature and the seasons, and I love the work of William Morris and Edward Bawden amongst others.

Hi
As part of the British Museam project I am planning to use monoprint as part of my designs. These are some of my prints, which are based on the sketches that I made in the museum. As monoprint can be unpredictable I do a few prints and then select the best ones to use. I find that certain shapes work better than others - the Greek warrior for example was really tricky to do.

Here are some initial sketches I am doing for a project. The project is to design signs for six exhibition rooms at the British Museum. The rooms we have to illustrate include: China, Egyptian Sculpture; Greek and Roman Sculpture; The Parthenon; Mexico and Medieval Europe. The above a initial sketches for Greek and Roman Sculpture and China.
